3 DAYS DESERT TOUR FROM AGADIR ITINERARY:
Day 1: AGADIR – TALIOUIN – KASBAH AIT BENHADOU – OUARZAZAZTE
On the first day of 3 Days Desert Tour from Agadir we leave around 8am and head to southern Morocco, passing by Kasbah Ait Benhadou and the saffron capital Taliouine. We will have stops along the road before reaching Taznakhte, the capital of Moroccan carpets. After lunch, we visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhadou as UNESCO World Heritage Site, , in the afternoon. Then, we continue to Ouarzazate, where you will visit the Cinema studio before heading to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 2: OUARZAZATE – TODGHA GORGES – TINJDADA – MERZOUGA DESERT
After breakfast, set out from Ouarzazate towards the desert oasis of Merzouga. Explore the gorgeous Draa Valley, with its green palm groves and historic kasbahs. making occasional stops to admire the stunning scenery and capture photographs. Pause at the Todra Gorge, an awe-inspiring canyon with towering cliffs, where you can take a leisurely stroll and soak in the breathtaking natural beauty.
Resume the journey to Merzouga, where the landscape gradually transitions into the iconic Saharan dunes. Upon arrival, you will ride camel and cross the sund dunes. relishing in the tranquility and vastness of the sandy expanse. As the sun sets, marvel at the kaleidoscopic hues painting the horizon before settling into your desert camp for the night, indulging in Berber hospitality, delectable cuisine, and rhythmic music beneath the star-studded sky. Day 3: MERZOUGA DESERT – RISSANI –HIGH ATLAS MOUTANIS – MARRAKECH
To start your day perfectly, make sure to get up early to witness the splendor of the desert sunrise. After a delicious breakfast, enjoy the chance to ride your beloved camel all the way back to Merzouga. After arriving in Merzouga, meet up with our driver and start your journey back to to Agadir . We’ll drive to Rissani, which has one of Morocco’s busiest and oldest marketplaces.
Continuing our expedition, we’ll travek through Draa Valley, famed for its expansive palm groves stretching over 680 meters (1100 kilometers)
En route, we’ll pass through several Berber settlements, including Tazzarine, renowned for its appearance in the film “Babel,” and NQOB, offering a picturesque backdrop of majestic mountains to enjoy while savoring a meal. Continuing through the captivating landscapes of the Anti-Atlas Mountains, adorned with remote mud villages that seem frozen in time amidst the desert expanse. As we wind our way along the road, soak in the panoramic vistas of Morocco’s longest palm tree valley, where lush greenery contrasts against the arid surroundings, creating a mesmerizing tapestry of colors.
Subsequently, we’ll journey onward to Ouarzazate, navigating through the rugged terrain of the Anti-Atlas Mountains before ascending over the High Atlas Mountains on our route back to Marrakech.
