About Morocco Stunning Tours

Who we are

A Berber Family Company From the Sahara's Doorstep

Morocco Stunning Tours is a family-run travel company built on a simple idea: the people who show you Morocco should be the people who live it. We are the Boumia family — Amazigh (Berber) from Ksar Tiharyine, a small fortified village outside Rissani, right at the doorstep of the Erg Chebbi dunes of Merzouga. Our founder, Aziz Boumia, grew up between the palm groves of the Ziz Valley and the open Sahara, and has spent more than a decade guiding travellers from all over the world across the country he calls home.

We are a fully registered Moroccan tour company — Morocco Stunning Tours SARL AU, with our registration details published on our Legal Notice page — with our roots in the desert and our operating office in Fes. When you write to us, you are talking directly to the family that runs your trip: no resellers, no anonymous call centre, no outsourced planning.

That closeness shows in what travellers say. We hold a 5.0 rating on TripAdvisor across more than 260 reviews, and most of our tours still begin the same way every one of them did: with a conversation about what you want Morocco to feel like.

Our team

Local Guides, Drivers and Hosts Who Know Every Road

Our team is small on purpose. The drivers, cooks and camp hosts we work with are people we have known for years — many are family, and all of them come from the regions you will travel through. Your driver has crossed the Tizi n’Tichka pass more times than he can count. Your host in Merzouga was born within sight of the dunes. And in the imperial cities, we walk you through the medinas with official local guides who know every carved doorway and hidden fondouk.

Our mission has not changed since the first trip: organise journeys around the traveller, not around a template. We listen first, then build. Whether you want imperial cities, the Atlantic coast, the Atlas Mountains and Berber villages, or the silence of the Sahara, we design the route to fit your time, your budget and your pace — and we keep refining it with you until it is exactly right.

Booking with us is deliberately simple, too. You talk to us on WhatsApp or email, we answer the same day, and everything — itinerary, inclusions, price — is confirmed in writing before you pay anything. Our booking terms and privacy policy are published openly, and our company registration is public on our legal notice page, because trust should not have to be taken on faith.

Every tour we operate is private and flexible. Your trip can start from any airport or city in Morocco — Marrakech, Casablanca, Fes, Tangier or Ouarzazate — and from there the route and rhythm are yours. Stop for photographs whenever the light is right, linger over mint tea with a nomad family, or change tomorrow’s plan over dinner tonight; with a private driver, you can.

You travel in comfortable, air-conditioned 4x4s and minivans, sleep in hand-picked riads and kasbahs we have visited ourselves, and spend your desert nights at our camp beneath the Erg Chebbi dunes. Families, couples, friends and solo travellers all get the same thing: a trip built for them, with the safety and judgement of drivers who know every road, mountain pass and desert track between the cities.

And because Morocco is more than its postcard stops, we build in the places we would take our own friends: fossil workshops around Erfoud, ancient khettara irrigation tunnels, Saturday souks where locals actually shop, and family homes where the bread comes warm from the communal oven.

From watching the sunrise turn the dunes gold to counting shooting stars around a Sahara campfire after a Berber dinner and drum music, the moments that make people fall in love with Morocco are the ones we grew up with — and sharing them never gets old.

Tell us what you are dreaming of, and we will design the journey around it. Message us on WhatsApp at +212 604 811 382 or use our contact page: whatever time zone you write from, it is always one of us — usually Aziz — who answers.
