3 Days tour from Fes ITINERARY:

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Sahara Desert

Well pick you up from your accommodation and take you over the Middle Atlas Mountains to the Sahara
Desert. Well stop in Ifran, which is regarded as the Switzerland of Morocco because of its resemblance
to a Swiss mountain resort. Well then travel to the Cedar Forest, North Africa largest and home to
Barbary Monkies, where well be able to feed them and snap some beautiful photographs. We continue on
our tour, admiring nature stunning Berber mud villages, farmland, and landscapes. Well take a break
for lunch about halfway through. Then continue on to Talghomt Pass and the Ziz Gorges. Well arrive at
the impressive hidden oases of Ziz Valley, which are surrounded by palm groves, Well stop for
panoramic views and some time to relax and enjoy the oases, then travel up the valley to Erfoud, a fossil
town. Youll have the opportunity to observe both precious stones and fossils. Visitors are welcome to
attend the Marmar workshop. Our 3-day fes desert tour will take us to the Sahara desert, where you will
spend the night in a hotel with a view of Merzouga golden dunes.

Day 2: Merzouga – Desert sightseeing – Camel Trekking – Camp

Today is a nomadic day, and well start our half-day desert expedition in the Sahara. We go on a tour to
observe nomads living in tents in the Sahara desert, learn about their lives, and drink a cup of tea with
them.. After that, well continue on our journey to see old mines that were originally used by the French.
Later on in our 3-day Fez desert tour, well visit the village of Khamlia, which is home to black Berbers
descended from Sudan and Mali. Well have the opportunity to hear their Gnaoua music and eat lunch in
town. Before embarking on the camel ride, well visit an oasis on the outskirts of the Sahara desert, as well
as a lake. After a brief respite, resume camel trekking into the erg-Chebbi desert towering dunes. You
will witness a spectacular sunset on a high dune and arrive at a desert tent in the midst of the Sahara.
After a great dinner, gather around the fire and under the stars to listen to Berber music performed by
local nomads.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert – Fes

Getting up early in the morning is a must do  if you want to view one of the most spectacular sunrises
youve ever seen from the top of a dune near the camp. After breakfast, youll ride the camels back to the
Sahara edge, where you;ll reunite with your driver. Leaving the vast desert tranquility and solitude to
travel to Fes. Stop for lunch and rest on the route, then continue driving to Fes, where you will be dropped
off at your hotel. The 3 day desert tour of Fez has come to an end.
