Itinerary of 3 days tour from Marrakech to Sahara Desert and back:
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Rose Valley – Dades Gorges
We will pick you up from your riad/hotel and begin our 3-day tour from Marrakech to the Sahara Desert
and back by passing via the high Atlas mountains via Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2260 m) (7414 ft), which is
North Africas highest major mountain pass. You will be able to appreciate natures gorgeous vistas as
well as the unique Berber communities. We continue south after traversing the mountains to reach
Moroccos most famous, filmed, and photographed Kasbah. The Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou is a Unesco
World Heritage Site that has used as the setting for a number of films, including Lawrence of Arabia,
Gladiator, and Game of Thrones. After that, well head to Ouarzazate, where youll see the Oscar Film
Studios, which are world-famous. We continue on our journey down the Thousand Kasbahs Road to Rose
Town, where people harvest over 400 tonnes of rose petals to be processed into lotions, rose water, and
perfumes. In May, the town has a festival. After that, we drive along the Dades valley where you will
spend the night in a hotel overlooking the Valley.
Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, we will enjoy the spectacular mud houses and the amazing rock formation known locally
as monkies fingers then take the road to the Sahara desert via Todra Gorges: a narrow corridor that
rises dramatically up to 300m on both sides. We then drive around 15 km to Todra valley where we will
stop for a panoramic view of the impressive greenery and mud villages that surround the area. Continuing
to Merzouga desert, we will pass by villages like Tinjdad, Malaab, Toroug… Our 3 days tour from
Marrakech to the Sahara desert will allow us to see the hidden old underground irrigation system – a long
chain of dried wells that used to be active hundreds of years ago. We arrive at Merzouga in the late
afternoon where you will ride camels and cross the golden dunes, on the way, your camel guide will stop
for you to see a magnificent sunset, then continue riding to a Bedouin camp. After a delicious dinner, you
will enjoy Berber music played by local nomads around the fire and under a starry sky.
Day 3: Merzouga – Alnif – Agdez – Ouarzazat – Marrakech
Getting up early is a “must do” if you want to watch the most beautiful sunrise of your life on top of a
dune near the camp. After breakfast, you ride camels back or 4×4 to meet your driver. Then go on the
road and head for Marrakech, leaving the desert solitude behind. Well take a different route, traveling
through villages like Alnif, Nkoub, and Agdez, where youll view Moroccos longest river and the gorgeous
Draa Valley, and have lunch in the village.. Well pass the Anti-Atlas Mountains on our way back to

Fabiana V2024-06-16Can I give 6 stars? Impeccable! That's the word to describe a week of traveling with Aziz and his company. He welcomed us to Casablanca with a box of typical sweets and made a point of wanting to know what we liked and what music we should listen to. We stayed in the best Riads and with the best food! He made sure we could go to the mall to buy clothes and other necessities (Royal Air Morocco lost our luggage) as many times as necessary. He showed his people, his friends in the desert and secured the best local guides in Fez and Marrakech. I appreciate the entire experience with Aziz and I recommend his company to anyone! He made a point of turning hours of driving between cities into unique and interesting trips and we left there friends!Ayeska M2024-05-26Desert tour with friends We took a 4-day tour in the desert with Aziz, and it was fantastic. Aziz, our guide, was punctual and explained all the points we passed and answered our questions. The hotels were comfortable, with delicious and abundant breakfast. Dinner too, well served and good food. I'm vegetarian and there was a vegetarian option at every meal! The service was very good, always asked if we needed anything else. The night at the camp in the desert was great with typical music and we were rewarded with a beautiful full moon! It was a unique experience and I highly recommend Morocco Stunning Tour for your experience in the Moroccan desert!Rahissa D2024-05-25Great experience The landscapes seen during the trip are sensational and the guide was very attentive. Our guide Aziz picked us up at our hotel in Marrakesh for 4 days of visiting the desert and surrounding cities and at the end taking us to Fez. The trip was incredible due to the landscapes, the itinerary and the guide gave us a lot of historical information. We were free to ask for stops or take as much time as we wanted anywhere. Aziz speaks fluent Portuguese, which makes it very easy. As we were 4 women traveling alone, having a guide who gave us confidence was essential. We felt safe in his company and everywhere he accompanied us. The proposed itinerary was also excellent. The hotels booked by Aziz were excellent, with great service and meals. It was indeed an experience that exceeded my expectations and was excellent. I recommend!Roberta R2024-05-15The best experience in Morocco. Everything was perfectly arranged, from overnight stays to excursions (including the camel ride through the desert). With the added bonus of Addi's special stories about his former nomadic life in his youth. The four of us drove around for four days in a 4-wheel drive. Everything comfortable and pleasant, with room for your own wishes.Luciana H2024-05-13Morocco tour wm 14 days. I would like to explain the experience in words but this becomes difficult. In fact, almost impossible. Aziz, Said and Ieda were perfect in teamwork. I loved the night in the desert, visiting the Medinas, chefschauen, mountains, beach... so much.
