7 Day Morocco Tour From Tangier ITINERARY:

Day 1: Tangier – Tetouan –  Chefchaouen

We will pick you up from your Riad or Port and start our exciting  7 Day  Morocco Tour From Tangier To Marrakech via Fes and Casablanca towards ‘’ the pearl of Morocco ‘’ Chefchaoeun ‘’ via Tetouan – A Unesco World Heritage Site – you will have free time to stroll around its whitewashed medina that has a big influence of the Berber, Andalusian and Spanish influence which made it rich in history and culture. We then set off to Chefchaoeun to explore this delightful town that looks like no other in the Country. Its steep, narrow streets and white indigo washed buildings make it an ideal backdrop for photography. You will hang out in the old medina, Plaza Uta Hamma with its old Kasbah. You will also have an opportunity to meet with locals, wander in the souks ( markets ), and enjoy this amazing town. Overnight in a riad.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Fes

After breakfast, we start our journey by visiting the natural water spring called Ras Elma and hike to the Spanish mosque with panoramic views over  Chefchaoeun. We then hit the road to Fes via Ouazzan crossing the Rif mountains with their breathtaking landscapes that nature offers us as well as Berber villages all along the way. On the way, we will have some stops to admire the landscapes and take fascinating pictures. Late afternoon, we will arrive in Fes. Check into your Riad in the heart of the medina and time to relax.

Day 3: Explore the Medina of Fes 

After breakfast, you will start your explorative day with a Local Guide who will show and explain to you every interesting spot in the Medina with a historical and cultural interest. The guided city tour will start with the outside part: You will visit the Royal Palace Gate, The Jewish quarter ( Mellah ) as well as a visit to the Ceramic Cooperative to learn about the traditional Moroccan crafts. Afterward, you will discover the inside of the Medina: You will visit the Tanneries, the superb architectural masterpiece of Bou Inania Madrasa, Blue gate, the Karaouiyine Mosque, Mederasa Seffarin where people work with metal making beautiful ( lamps, teapots..) and other decorated architectural masterpieces as the Najarian Fountain. In the afternoon, we will take to the tombs of Merenids to admire a wonderful panoramic view of the Medina. Overnight in your Riad.

Day 4: Fes – Volubilis – Meknes – Rabat

Today, we leave Fes and travel to the fascinating archaeological site of Volubilis which is one of Morocco’s best-preserved Roman ruins located between the Imperial Cities of Fez and Meknes on a fertile plain surrounded by wheat fields. In Volubilis: you will discover stunning mosaic tile work as the mosaic of the Labours of Hercules, Basilica, the Baths of Gallienus, and Baths of Forum with their fragmentary mosaics, public hammams, triumphal arches, and parliament buildings. In 1997, the archaeological site of Volubilis was inscribed on the Unesco World Heritage list.

We continue our journey to Meknes where you will explore: The huge gate of Mansour, the Granary, The Swani basin, the old medina with its souks, and  Lahdim square where you will relax in one of its Cafées. In the afternoon, We set off for Rabat ( the administrative Capital of Morocco ). In Rabat: You will visit The magnificent Kasbah of Oudayas, Hassan Tower with its uncompleted minaret, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Hassan 2 ( father of the current king ). Overnight in your Riad.

Day 5: Rabat – Casablanca – Marrakesh 

After Breakfast, we travel to Casablanca that is the biggest city and the economic Capital of Morocco. Among things that you will visit: The Hassan 2 mosque: the second largest in the world and the only mosque opened to non-muslims, you will also have a visit to Ricks Cafe where Casablanca movie was shot. Also, we will visit the Habbous quarter built by the French in the 1920s before we leave for Marrakesh where you will spend your night in a Riad in the Medina.

Day 6: Marrakesh Sightseeing 

After breakfast,  start your city tour and explore Marrakech (Morocco’s Red City). The guide will ensure that you visit the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, such as the Bahia Palace, the Saadian tombs, and the Ben Yousef Quranic School as well as the largest traditional souk in Morocco. After lunch in one of the local restaurants near the main square, you can visit the Koutoubia tower and the Majorelle Gardens. Overnight in your riad.

Day 7: Marrakesh – Airport 

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your Riad and drive you to the airport for your flight. End of 7 days Imperial city tour from Tangier to Marrakesh.
