4-Day Marrakech Desert Tour

We will pick you up from your accommodation and take you to Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains. We’ll stop for several panoramic views to take in the stunning scenery that nature has to offer. as well as the unique Berber mud villages that dot the countryside. We then arrive in the village of Ait Benhaddou. where we will visit the fortified Kasbah, which has been filmed and photographed and is a Unesco World Heritage Site. Lunch will be served in the village. We then travel through Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa) – with the biggest cinema studios – we will have the possibility to visit them. Continue travelling south to the Valley of Roses. where around 400 tons of rose, petals are harvested each year and processed into rose water, lotions, and perfumes. In May, the Rose Festival is held here. Later, we’ll drive down a road lined with a thousand kasbahs before arriving in Dades Valley. where we’ll end the first day of our 4-day Marrakech desert tour in a hotel with a view of the valley.

Following breakfast, we will see the interesting rock formation known as “monkies fingers,”and the mud kasbahs. Then we head to the Sahara Desert via the Todra gorges, a short corridor that rises around 300 meters. We next drive about 15 kilometers to Todra Valley, where we will stop for panoramic views of the green oasis. As we continue our journey to Merzouga, we will pass through settlements like Tinjdad, Malaab, and Toroug. Our desert tour from Marrakesh to Merzouga will allow us to continue our journey across the vast desert. enjoying the peace and quiet before arriving at the incredible Sahara Desert of Merzouga, where you will ride camels and pass golden dunes. The camel guide will stop along the journey to show you one of the most stunning sunsets you’ve ever seen. After that, ride to a Bedouin camp. Following a delectable dinner, you will be entertained by Berber music performed by local personnel over a fire and against a starry sky.

It’s vital to get up early in order to see a spectacular sunrise on top of a dune near the camp. This day of the 4-day Marrakech desert tour is entirely dedicated to the desert. After breakfast, we’ll embark on a Sahara Desert journey to view the many sections of the desert. After breakfast, we will leave the silence and tranquility of the desert and travel back to Marrakesh. We will take a different road passing by villages like Alnif. Nkoub, and Agdez where you will see the longest river in Morocco and the stunning Draa valley, lunch in the village. Continuing on, we’ll pass through the Anti-Atlas Mountains and return to Ouarzazate. Then, after crossing the High Atlas Mountains, arrive in Marrakech late in the afternoon and be dropped off at your hotel at the conclusion of your 4-day Marrakech desert tour.
