We then travel through Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa) with the biggest cinema studios, we continue south to the Valley of Roses where every year around 400 tons of rose petals are harvested and processed into rose water, lotions, and perfumes. Later, we drive all along the road of thousand kasbahs before arriving at Dades, overnight in a hotel overlooking the Valley.
Today after breakfast. We set off to Todra Valley: a green fertile one surrounded by old mud villages, we drive around 15 km to get to Todra gorges: In a valley lined with palm trees and Berber villages, a canyon rises to 300 meters. We proceed to the Sahara Desert after lunch in the gorge, passing via an old subterranean irrigation system ( Khettarat ). We’ll continue south until we reach the Sahara Desert, where your camels will be waiting to take you on a ride across the golden sands. Your camel guide will make a pit break for you to watch a spectacular sunset on the top of a high dune before returning you to the camp (tents like nomads use).
