Itinerary of 3 days Marrakech To Fes Tour Via The Sahara:
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Rose Valley – Dades Gorges
At 8:00 a.m. We will pick you up from your hotel. Then begin our 3-day Marrakech to Fes desert journey,
which will take you over the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi nTichka Pass (2260m). Afterward, we’ll
stop to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the mountains and the special Berber Villages.After a bit, well
arrive at Ait Ben Haddou oldest and most famous Kasbah, a Unesco World Heritage Site that has served
as a backdrop for more than 20 films. ( Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Game of Thrones… lunch in
town, then visit the old mud village. We then travel through Ouarzazate ( Hollywood of Africa ) with the
biggest cinema studios, we continue south to the Valley of Roses where every year around 400 tons of rose
petals are harvested and processed into rose water, lotions, and perfumes. Later, we drive all along the
road of thousand kasbahs before arriving at Dades, overnight in a hotel overlooking the Valley.
Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga – Sahara Desert
Today after breakfast. We set off to Todra Valley: a green fertile one surrounded by old mud villages, we
drive around 15 km to get to Todra gorges: In a valley lined with palm trees and Berber villages, a canyon
rises to 300 meters. We proceed to the Sahara desert after lunch in the gorge, passing via an old
subterranean irrigation system ( Khettarat ). Well continue south until we reach the Sahara desert, where
your camels will be waiting to take you on a ride across the golden sands. Your camel guide will make a
pit break for you to watch a spectacular sunset on the top of a high dune before returning you to the camp
( tents like nomads use). After a rest, our 3 day Marrakech Fes desert trip will provide you with a
delectable dinner, followed by the opportunity to listen to and dance to Berber music performed by
nomads around a fire and under the stars.
Day 3: Sahara Desert – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Cedar Forest- Ifrane – Fes
Get up early to view one of the most beautiful sunrises youve ever seen from the top of a dune. Youll
return to the edge of the Sahara desert on camels after breakfast. After that, well travel from Merzouga
to Fez through Erfoud and Ziz Valley, where well stop to take in the panoramic views. lunch in Midelt,
then continue to take pictures of wild monkeys in the Cedarwoods of Azrou. We proceed through Ifrane
to arrive in the evening to Fes where the Marrakech Fes desert 3 days tour ends, drop off at your
accommodation.
